Recycling old fabrics into bespoke bags…
Access 21 Interiors were delighted to find out that whilst working on a previous scheme the residents had removed fabric from several of the redundant furniture items and used their skills to create bespoke accessories.
One resident came up with the idea of up-cycling the fabric to produce a sewing bag made from the fabric of an old armchair and several cushions.
We think recycling old fabrics is a great idea, as these furniture items wouldn’t have been used again and have ben up-cycled to create something new and useful.
Access 21 Interiors is constantly striving to be as sustainable as possible, and this is a great way of using old and redundant furniture, we hope to see more in the future.
